Thanks so much!

Ok... so if you've not figured it out... I had to pull away from the blogs for a while.. There are times that it all just becomes to much for me to handle...
Yes, we know that we are on the path God designed for us, Yes, we know that in this WAIT of YEARS, God is preparing our children for us, and most likely us for our children... and yes, I know that God does have a plan and desire to see this thing he spoke to the core of our hearts to do come to pass.... Yes, I know... and yes, I can not imagine walking this road without all those reassurances, but even in all of this and the KNOWING and SEEING God firsthand.... there are times when it's so frustrating and discouraging...
Just look at the timeline on the right side to see the long road we've been on....

Anyway, so I've taken a few weeks off from looking at the blogs and only visiting families who were traveling... and I guess as a result of that, I've also neglected my blog... I had lots of plans of posting pictures of various things, but have never taken the time to do it... humm......

so, I logged onto my blog this morning to mainly just listen to the music.. and the tears started to roll.. and then I looked at and reread the 15 comments that some of you left for us a couple of posts ago... and to say that I was encouraged would be putting it lightly! Thank you so much for reading my blog and caring about our family. Thanks for encouraging me this morning!
:-)
BTW: fundraisers are in the works... :-)

I know what you mean. Sometimes it is all too much. I can't handle the yahoo groups anymore! God definitely has a plan for your family and I am excited to see where He leads you!

Oh Lanetta, I can so relate to you ! I so wonder sometimes how I am going to get through this journey!! Despite it being such a difficult journey so far with so many dissapointments we still have hope and faith and know God has a plan. He is just fine tuning us a bit.(well, maybe a lot)Let us keep hanging on!

We're still praying for your boys to get home soon! So many of us understand the frustration that comes with waiting for God's timing. It's hard, but the end result will so be worth it! Hang in there!

Oh Lanetta, I can relate. Sometimes it feels like we are so close to our boys, and then other times it feels like we are so far away. Know that you are not alone, and know that we are always here for you! Hang in there, and know you're loved!

We've all been there when we just have had to pull away, find our inner strength and rebuild confidence. Please know that we're not leaving you and will remain here for you as you travel to Kaz. Blessings to you, Susan

Waiting is a hard road, Sister, and there's nothing wrong with taking some time out to just be and enjoy the now.

Hi Lanetta,
I kinda thought as much and we can all relate. We are continuing to pray for you daily and wonder each day if you have heard back from DC. What are the chances?... AWAA finally gets things going with DC...just in time for the embassy workers vacations to begin (european style).
We're hanging in there with you, sister. All our Love! The Hollands

As always I am praying for you & your family.

Apologies on not commenting but I was having problems posting on some blogs - some security thing my husband installed so I could read & not comment.

Prayers are flowing for you!

Aw, my heart goes out to you. I do know what you mean about the tears just starting to roll. This is such a crazy journey, and twists our hearts in ways that were inconceivable before we started on this journey. When our Ethiopia process was delayed, I had to do the same thing- I took myself off the Yahoo group, and stopped looking at blogs. It was the only way to keep me from becoming an emotional wreck.

Hang in there! You've got a huge group of people rooting for you and cheering you on. You WILL get to the finish line some day!

I can so relate--sometimes I am just hooked on blogs and can't quit reading and sometimes I have to take a break. The long waits are the hardest.
I am glad you find strength in the support from others and in your faith that all will happen as God plans.
Prays to you.

Looks like we're all there with you... I did the same thing - pulled back from the blogs. I didn't even realize Jessica and Chris were in Kaz until today!! You're in our prayers. Our babies will all be home soon.

Many Blessings,
Amy
