A Day of Prayer...

We have decided to make tomorrow - April 10th, 2009 a Day of Prayer for Kazakhstan, for families in the country adopting, for families in the process (paper chase) and for our children waiting for us there. I feel like we should cover everything regarding the country, the officials, the consulate delays, and any and all other issues anyone can think of.

I have posted to our agency group, and wanted to open the day up to include anyone who would like to join us. The AWAA- Russia group has agreed to join us and pray for Kazakhstan tomorrow!

If you would like to join us in prayer tomorrow, or would like for us to include you and your family in our prayers.. please comment... leave the request or let us know that you also would like to be included!

Things and situations change when his children Pray... we are going to bombard heaven for our children....

The word says to do it.. and we are!!!! Please join us tomorrow and let's watch the power of prayer WORK!!!

Many blessings...
Lanetta

We will most definitely join in this day of prayer for all the adoptions and needs. We will be traveling most of the day to GA so we will have LOTS of time to read the Word and pray scripture over everyone! Thanks for doing this!

Great idea - we will definitely join you in prayer for the children of Kazakhstan, their families-to-be, and the myriad of government agencies who are involved in every adoption

We will certainly be praying! I love the idea. We will be praying for all of Kaz, families there, paper chasing families, and all aspects of adoption!

Thanks for getting this together Lanetta. Dean and I will join in prayer as well for this beautiful country and it's people; for the embassy to report back to us with good news and for our dossiers to begin moving smoothly; for our precious children waiting, and for the families already there; also please lift our family up in prayer. Sometimes I feel like when we try to obey God's call we often find ourselves and the ones we love under attack and oppression so much that we begin to doubt ourselves, others, and God's interventions. I so want/need to see God's mighty hand today - in so many ways. This day of prayer is 'perfect timing".
Blessings to all.

I think this is a wonderful idea. Please include Dave and I in this prayer day. We will do the same and include your family and your children who wait for you. Thank-you for initiating this.

What an awesome idea! We will also join in prayer for the orphans of Kazakhstan and the families who have put their trust in God to lead them through the adoption process.

Please pray for Greg & I, our 2 daughters and the children who await us in Kaz. Thank you!

I missed writing on the AWAA group - but was able to pray along with you all all day today - and hope and PRAY things really start to move for ALL of you again.... God is good, let's hope this IS His timing, and things MOVE. :)

Happy Easter!

Missed the day, but I regularly pray for you and all the other families waiting for their children. You are right, though...prayer can change anything!
