well... it's Tuesday, Nov 2nd at about 3:00 pm in the afternoon. We have been confined to this apartment for days... cause they keep sayign we'll receive the call any second to go to the babyhouse.. at this point they just need one man to sign one form and we're going. URG!! Can the man sign it already??? PLEASE!
We are trying so hard to stay upbeat and positive and remind each other and ourselves that ALL things are for a reason. I knew in the back recess of my mind that nothing.. absolutly NOTHING was certain once arriving.. but, I had hoped and prayed that we would not be here DAYS and WEEKS without meeting our son. The in-country staff and our lawyer are all very kind.. and sweet.. They apologize and say they KNOW how hard and stressful this has to be for us... :)
We continue to just wait... The being confimed to the apartment is the worst thing for me... We are ever reluctant to cook anything.. for fear they'll call the second we start fixing something... so we've just snacked around and not really ate anything like a real meal either..
While typing this out the phone rang and they called. They said that the paperwork will be completed by the end of the work day today... and that they will then know the time that we will meet with director of babyhouse TOMORROW... (not today)... they said they would call us back this evening and let us know specific time.
Made some dinner... and about to sit down to eat... then I'm headed out on a walk... Can't handle being confimed to this apartment for another second. Phil and I both know it will be so much easier when we meet our child.. and get this all started...
We know God has a plan and purpose and his timing is PERFECT!!!
Please keep praying... we know you are.. we feel them!
Love and prayers...
Check back... I've sent some pics to my friend (thanks again SO much Starr) to upload...
Have a great day...

Our prayers are wit you both at this stressful time we pray that tomorrow is the day, we also pray that this is the only hold up and everything from here goes without any bumps in the road, Looking forward to hearing you have met your son!!!!! Amanda from CT adopted a baby boy from Semey April 2010
Phil and Netta waiting is hard. I know that all things will work out. You haven't been sent on this mission by GOD for nothing. They just haven't let you meet the one he has chosen for you. Hang in there. I promise when you do met your son you will absolutely know. It is an awesome feeling, one that I remember well. Love to you both Linda.
